DENTAL CLEANINGS

Achieve A Healthy & Beautiful Smile with Routine Dental Cleanings

The Oral-Systemic Connection

Be proactive about your oral health care! Recent research studies by Harvard and Tufts University has found that bacteria found in the mouth contributes to systemic disease such as diabetes, Alzhiemers, cardiovascular disease, early pregnancy and more! Prevention starts with measures such as frequent cleanings and check-ups. These visits allow us to help control the bacteria load in the mouth as well as prevent larger dental problems from occurring.

 The Dental Cleaning

Our team provides you with the latest techniques to help keep your teeth strong and your gums bacteria free. We use fluoride, antibiotic mouth rinses and antibiotic medication that goes underneath the gum to kill bacteria that cannot be removed with just brushing and flossing. We perform various dental cleanings depending on your specific need.

How Often Should I Get A Cleaning?

Our proactive patients that care about their health come into our office at least twice a year. Those who have gum disease will come in three or four times per year to prevent gum surgery, systemic disease, and tooth loss.

Even though you might brush twice a day and floss daily, our mouths contain salivary glands that produce tarter that will stick onto the teeth. This tarter is a breeding ground for bacteria and needs to be removed as frequently as possible! Schedule your cleaning today with our online scheduling or call us for an appointment!
